Domination Status Report, December 2012

The Domination of Eiler is still supposed to drive its motor vehicle at least thirty miles at a time, once a month - assuming it moves said vehicle at all. It dragged its vehicle about twenty miles for a weekend in scenic Mukilteo, the first weekend of this month. The chosen lodgings were the Silver Cloud Inn, right on the waterfront and near the ferry to Whidbey Island.

This being December, a minor Pacific storm was in progress. The Dominator therefore took the ferry on foot, walked around the opposing town in his trenchcoat, scared people, and came back. The opposite side was a lot like rural Tennessee.

The end of that weekend was the Boeing Future of Flight Museum in Everett. The Dominator went there expecting to see the famous Space Shuttle simulator - but he got the wrong museum! Boeing operates two museums near Seattle! The Everett museum is mostly a front for the Boeing factory tour, which admittedly gave the Dominator a new appreciation for the 787 Dreamliner airplane. The Boeing Heritage of Flight Museum has the shuttle simulator - open weekends and holidays, and the Domination is not taking the chance that New Year's Eve might not be a holiday. Aside from that, the museum reportedly resembles air parks in Fargo and Kalamazoo, only larger.

This brings the Domination of Eiler to its end-of-year plans. Obviously it should drive the motor vehicle again. Somewhere. Maybe to the Luther's Table Cafe in Renton. The Lutheran Diocese of Western Washington actually operates a barroom under that name! But that's a long way to drive for a beer or two. Maybe the city of Everett can yield CDs and comic books instead... It will instead yield a live performance of Fiddler on the Roof, next Sunday! Good enough.

The Domination of Eiler can therefore stay near its home base, and smash through producing the end of the Powernaut 2011 series. (www.eilertech.com/stories/powernaut/2011c.htm ) Two episodes were victoriously published today! Only two remain, and they are getting filled in fast, due to recent extra time to hang out in inspirational places which serve lunch and beer.

Tonight, the Domination draws its inspiration from home. Dinner is homemade gruel... rice, mushroom "sauce" from Campbell's, and some old freezer steak, all stewed together. Good enough. Let the restaurants deal with Amateur Drunk Night.

By the way, Christmas was wonderful. Food service professionals enjoyed Domination holiday presents, the Domination Christmas Steak came out perfect, the Dominator communed with the distant Eiler-allies via phone, and some other stuff made it into the holiday pile. The Christmas Comic Book for 2012 was the Frankenstein Monster Circus of Crime vs. the Wolverine School for Gifted Youngsters. Modern-day comic books may be on the decline, but they can still produce a good episode such as that. And the prize gift was a hand-knitted scarf from a church lady. With goodness from church ladies plus the proper transport, the Domination of Eiler will some day overwhelm the galaxy.

All Hail the Domination, and Victorious 2013 To All!
